Fox Valentine Box

I regretted never blogging about my daughter’s valentine box last year. It turned out really cute and took just a few minutes to make. Well, when we were brainstorming for this year’s box she brought it downstairs to show me… she had kept it all year hidden somewhere in her room! So, today’s blog post is courtesy of my little pack rat. You are welcome!

I think that cereal boxes make the EASIEST Valentine boxes! I just cut the top off or fold it down before wrapping the outside. For previous boxes we wrapped it in paper, but this one we used some fluffy, orange fabric that I bought a long time ago from the Joann remnant bin. Then I cut the face details out of felt and we hot glued them on. My daughter added some big googly eyes. We used scraps of the fluffy fabric and pink felt to make the ears and just glued them on along the bottom so that they would be a little floppy.

This year’s box is VERY different and I will share all about that ASAP. Not next year. Promise.
